This was a woodshed/storage room that was so far gone only the roof was worth saving. We jacked up the roof and demolished all 3 walls and the floor and foundation.

Plenty of work was involved to get this whipped into shape.

We extended the existing deck around the new room. The large arch-top window is an Andersen, and the elliptical window above I built in my shop.

To make the jambs for the elliptical window I first made a bending form, and then laminated 3 layers of clear air-dried pine alternated with 2 layers of bending plywood around the form. Then I routed a recess for the insulated glass unit.

I installed new rafters to support and straighten the sagging roof.

Meticulous air sealing, and high levels of insulation in the walls, floor and ceiling will make this a comfortable and energy efficient addition to the customer's home.

Here is a pair of cherry side tables from last winter that never made it to the website. I hope to be building more furniture this winter.

Below is your average Power and Company semi-deluxe pressure-treated pool deck. This one has a sliding lockable gate at the top of the stairs.
